My Story

Obi is a sweet girl looking for a foster home to relax in while she is treated by our dedicated medical team. She is a sweet girl who adores her people! Reason for Foster: Feline Cystadenomatosis & Dental Disease Foster Care Plan: Obi has multiple cysts in her ears that are likely caused by Feline Cystadenomatosis. Treatment is not typically needed unless the cysts are enlarging or causing issues with the ear canals. Her condition is mild and no treatment is needed at this time, but we do ask that her foster to monitor her and let us know if anything changes. Obi has been chosen for our permanent foster also known as a bucket list foster. "Permanent" is what we call our animals who will remain in permanent foster due to chronic health issues. These kids will not be made available for adoption, but rather will remain in the care of Operation Kindness and our foster network until such time as they are ready to cross the rainbow bridge. The foster must be able to commit to giving the care of medication powder with food and follow her special food diet, medication schedule, and rechecks occasional that has been established by the veterinarian. We will provide proper training for their foster so that you feel fully prepared to care and provide the best for this sweet baby. We will provide a consultation upon arrival along with training if needed. All supplies, vet care and resources will be sent with you to be able to confidently take care of this fur baby in a loving home to stay in.
