My Story

October Moon is a beautiful, sweet small senior lady who is looking for a quiet, yet somewhat active retirement home. She'd be the grandma who loves to play bingo and shuffle board and signs up for all of the activities at the senior center. Our best estimate is that she's at least 10 years old. She has tolerated other cats who leave her alone but would prefer to keep all the attention to herself. And she loves attention! She will happily sit in your lap or wind through your legs while you gently scratch her neck, chin and ears. This kitty is being adopted with a known and disclosed medical concern. This cat has undergone dental extractions due to medical necessity. Please note that the cat may require a diet of soft or wet food. Regular veterinary check-ups are recommended to monitor overall oral health and ensure proper nutrition. There is a small chance of ongoing gum sensitivity or oral health issues that may require attention. This kitty has also had ear infections requiring treatment. She has been cleared for adoption, but her ears may require future monitoring and treatment in the future. By adopting this cat, you acknowledge that you understand their condition and agree to provide the appropriate care. The adopting party accepts full responsibility for any future medical needs related to this condition. ****To inquire about or to apply to adopt this kitty, please fill out our application. It will take you directly to our application!**** https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ZADE/Cat By adopting this kitty, it helps the SBZ Organization work on decreasing the over-abundance of kittens that end up homeless. Adoption Fee $100. Note: *Because rescue cats do not come from breeders with specific backgrounds, the description is our best estimate of breed & is not guaranteed. *SBZ requests that adopted kitties be taken to your private vet to be established right away as moving around can be stressful- even if it's good stress- and cause reactions in their immune systems. *If you have dogs and other kitties, please make sure to do a slow introduction so they can learn about each other.
