My Story

ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/cats/1250 Update 2: I am a very playful and cuddly girl. I will climb on your lap and stay as long as you let me. I am the calmest (and cutest) among my brothers and sister. Curious fact: I have one blue and one green eye, how cool is that. I am fully litter trained and have never had accidents. Update 1: I am growing very fast and catching up to my siblings, but I remain the same blue-eyed cutie patootie. I am very well behaved and socialized. I love to play and I don't mind being held. My foster mom calls me "Itty Bitty" because I am the smallest of the 6 Little Leaves. Even though my two sisters are now twice as big as I am, I am definitely twice as cute, especially with my big blue eyes. I am very quiet and I love being held. I am quite plump but I eat very slowly, so my foster mom feeds me separately from my siblings. I don't like playing rough with my siblings but I like to run with them, chase pom poms, and hide. To adopt fill out the simple online application at https://ophrescue.org Operation Paws for Homes, Inc. (OPH) rescues dogs and cats of all breeds and ages from high-kill shelters in NC, VA, MD, and SC, reducing the numbers being euthanized. With limited resources, the shelters are forced to put down 50-90% of the animals that come in the front door. OPH provides pet adoption services to families located in VA, DC, MD, PA and neighboring states. OPH is a 501(c)(3) organization and is 100% donor funded. OPH does not operate a shelter or have a physical location. We rely on foster families who open their homes to give love and attention to each pet before finding a forever home. All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.
