With a new baby in the house, poor Opal's family no longer had time for her and surrendered her to the shelter. Sweet and affectionate, Opal gives strong head butts and kisses asking for attention. She's not a lap kitty, but loves to lay next to you on the couch. She's playful, too, and any object in the house will do. Opal gets along with other cats and is good about using cardboard scratching posts instead of furniture! Her favorite flavor of food is chicken.
