Ovie

Hi everyone, meet Ovie (yes foster mama is a huge Capitals fan)! Just like his namesake, Ovie is a brave guy who also likes to have a little fun too :). This dude came to us with a strong instinct to jerk away from human contact, but it only took a few days for him to realize how much he loved to be held and pet! Sometimes he forgets but he remembers quickly :). Ovie is discovering toys and he's pretty fascinated. Currently he loves his hockey puck wand toy (see video), as well as his self-entertaining ball toy where he can just bat a ball around in a circle when he's bored. Like his namesake he has EXCELLENT hand/eye coordination! He's very food motivated - maybe a little too excited (he likes to grab a chunk of his wet food in his mouth then run a few feet away and actually eat it - then come back for more - weirdo :)). Once you get Ovie in your lap he's pretty comfie there - demanding pets and returning those w/ sweet purrs. He's a quiet kitty - haven't heard one meow yet! He is a solo kitty now in foster care but he really hopes you have another furrball for him to play and pal around with - he can be adopted into a home that already has a cat or with another kitten from our rescue (he does have a little tortoiseshell buddy here he may be able to adopted with - ask us!)
