My Story

PATCHES is a short-haired, dilute tortie (tortoiseshell), female kitten with a solid little build. Patches enjoys playing with her littermates and curling up on a lap, but she also has more of an independent streak. When all the boys are curled up in a pile, she can often be found snoozing a little bit away. She is a "shoulder sitter" as she likes to sit on the back of the couch and rest her head on her person's shoulder! She was one of the eight kittens taken from a neglectful situation, and she is now thoroughly enjoying the indoor life. Patches was pretty shy at first, but now she's the leader of the pack. New sounds/people can still spook her, but she recovers pretty quickly. Patches is a self-confident little girl who still enjoys a good cuddle and play time! PATCHES has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Patches in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $175 ($320/2 kittens) adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
