Patty

Patty has come a pretty long ways away from being unapproachable! She does seem to enjoy pets very much, but only on the back of her neck. She will allow chin/cheek scratches as well, but her back is definitely a no go so far. She still gives me unexpected swats, but they're not very angry ones and I wonder if maybe she's just overstimulated with the pets because she comes right back and asks for more lovin after. She does the cutest big ol flop onto her side next to you or on you to let you know she's open to being pet. She will definitely do best with a person who is patient and willing to go at her pace as it does take her time to adjust to new situations and people. She did come in with another cat, but she is fearful towards my cats at the moment and likes to try to slap them from underneath the door to her room when they get a little too curious. She likes her space to be hers alone. Perhaps she'd be willing to accept another feline friend with a long and slow introduction process.
