My Story

Popcorn Kernel is a sassy little lady ready to pop right into your heart! At just about 5-months-old, PK is just a kitten with lots of fun energy! While she hisses at the other cats in the room, we suspect that give time to warm up and adjust in a new home, she would do fine with a male cat. She will likely hold her own with a dog too. Popcorn Kernel is social and not a scaredy cat but doesn't like to be held too much. While she loves to hang around her people, she wouldn't do well with little kids who want to pick up and carry their new kitten, too much sass for that! This high energy little one will bring lots of fun to her new home! We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to [email protected] regarding adoption inquires. We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in a pet but want to see them during our shelter open hours prior to filling out an application, we strongly recommend that you email us at [email protected] before visiting the shelter to ensure they are still there. Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing [email protected] and asking for an application. Adoption fees allow our non-profit to continue to help pets in need. Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
