My Story

Poppy is a friendly tuxedo girl, about six months old, who needs a home. Like most kittens, she's a little shy at first, but she warms up once her trust has been earned. Unlike most other kittens, though, she's a rather independent little gal. She gets along with the other cats (including her sister Fern, posted separately) and dog in her foster home, but seems like she'd be OK without them. She's very friendly to his foster mom, so she definitely warms up to people. Poppy would do best adopted into a home with someone who will give her lots of attention, and play time, and who won't leave her unaccompanied for long hours. Poppy is loads of fun and will add warmth and love to the home of anyone who adopts her. She would be suitable for a first-time adopter. She has been: - spayed - vaccinated as age appropriate - tested negative for FeLV and FIV - treated for worms and fleas Her adopter will receive her medical records. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee so we can continue to help cats in need. She's being fostered in Danvers. Cats can live up to 20 years, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time. If you can and will commit to her and provide a safe, loving home for life, then respond to [email protected]. Please include your phone number for a faster response and say a little about yourself and the home you would provide for her as we try to match people with the right cats.
