My Story

Hi there! My name is Porthos. I am a handsome 4 month old, male, Domestic Short haired kitten. I was surrendered by my family on 12/23/2024 due to some gestational troubles that they could no longer afford to take care of. I am a very affectionate boy who gets along with other cats, doesn't mind dogs, and loves kids. I have been battling a gestational infection for a couple months that I am having a hard time beating. In spite of this, I remain a very loving, smart boy. My previous owner taught me to play fetch and says I am a very playful boy! My adoption fee is $75. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, and FVRCP! If you are interested in adopting me, please go to https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/. RAC staff will be in touch with approved applications to schedule meet and greets accordingly. All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email [email protected]. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
