Red Fish

My story: I went to a foster just after having my front leg amputated. I was stranded on a small island living off scraps nice people tossed to me. I was unaccustomed to living indoors and scared of people. After several days with my foster family I started getting familiar with the smells and sounds of my new surroundings and started slowly beginning to interact with my foster family's cats and dog. I love to play with stuffed mice and small balls. I may only have one front paw but it does not stop him from climbing to the top of an 8-ft high cat tower or chasing down toys. My foster family said I am treat oriented and these make a good tool to help me become comfortable when introducing new changes to my world. I will climb into your lap to eat my favorite treat, Delectable Squeeze-ups, or to eat Temptations from your hand while you scratch my back. A little patience is needed with me but I get better with each interaction and I'm truly a sweetheart at my core.
