Hi there! My name is Rene and I am a two-year old DSH looking for my forever home here at the Stafford County Animal Shelter. I came into the shelter's care through no fault of my own and I have made it my New Year's resolution to find a forever home! I am an extremely sweet, outgoing feline who gladly welcomes and seeks out your affection. I seem to get along well with my roommates here at the shelter, but the staff here say I also appear to be independent and don't necessarily need another friend, so if you would have me as your one and only, that'd be fine too! I am not sure how I feel about dogs, and I would probably do great with kids given how sweet I am! As I am not spayed, only Stafford County or neighboring county residents are eligible to adopt me. -//- Adoptions are conducted on a first-come, first-serve basis and adopters must be prepared to show a picture ID and/or something with proof of residency if the ID does not currently have it. Cats must leave in a carrier and if adopters do not have one of their own, we offer cat boxes for $5. Adoptions conclude half an hour before closing. We are open 11AM-5:30PM, Monday-Friday, and 9:30AM-4PM on Saturday.
