When you hear my name, Ringo, I know you’ll think of the Beatles’ drummer, Ringo Starr. But did you know that it’s also the Japanese word for “apple”? I’m a black and white tuxedo female, and I’m the apple of my mama’s eye. She’s Sugar, and we came to Paws and Claws from another shelter, along with four other cats. We were there for a long time, and coming here is scary for me. Mama Sugar and I are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. I’m so shy that I hide with her much of the time. I come out for short periods; Mama is much braver and likes attention and playing. I hope when I get used to this new place, I will become more confident too. With a patient, loving, cat-savvy person who will give me time to adjust, I want to become the apple of your eye, too, and get your heart beating like a drum.
