Rocky

This handsome tabby was a lucky boy. He was one of several cats who were dumped on the property of a woman living outside of Excelsior Springs. This wonderful woman took care of every cat that came her way. She had them all spayed or neutered, she found homes for many of them, and some she relinquished to our shelter. Rocky must have been special, because he was one she brought into her very own home. Sadly, this woman recently had to move into assisted living, after having worked tirelessly to make sure every cat on her property was taken care of. Now Rocky needs to be taken care of. After all of the fights he undoubtedly had as a stray cat, he deserves the chance at another forever home. As the famous Rocky character said, “nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.” Rocky has been hit by life again and again. Make this most recent blow (losing his human and home) be his last. Let him retire as the champion he is in your home.
