“A little nervous breakdown can really work wonders for a girl.” – Rory Gilmore of “The Gilmore Girls". Okay, well, being nervous and timid isn’t exactly like having a nervous breakdown, is it? Coming indoors to the shelter is a good thing, right? Especially in January! I’m Rory, an orange tabby and white young adult female who was found outdoors in Mantorville. I was shy at first, but I’m feeling safer and friendlier now that I’ve been here a little while. I’ve warmed up, and I love sitting with people, being petted, and chatting. I do have a question though. What’s up with wand toys? I was scared when I first saw one! But when I got up the gumption to sniff it – meh. Not interested. I’d much rather have love and affection, thank you. Adoption? Yes, please! I wonder if I’ll be thinking what Rory Gilmore said: “I’m having one of those moments where everything is so perfect that you almost feel sad that nothing can ever feel this good again.” I can’t wait to find out how the story of Rory will go…Let’s write it together!
