Sailor was found living with a group of feral cats in the summer of 2022, but this extremely friendly young boy had no interest in life on the streets! He was quickly adopted but unfortunately his new mom's life circumstances have changed and she can no longer keep him, so he is on the hunt again for a new home.
He is about 4 years old now, neutered, current on vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLV and microchipped. He is also polydactyl, meaning he has extra toes! He previously lived with other cats in his foster home and did very well, but likely would do best with other playful cats. (He might be a bit much for an older cat.) He has not been around dogs or children but likely would do fine with slow introductions.
Here's what his adoptive mom had to say about him:
Sailor is very energetic. He likes to play with toys/be played with, follow whoever is home around, make biscuits on you, and more importantly snuggle. He will sleep next to you or on your feet all night long. I call him my cat dog because he truly does act as loyal as a dog does. He is friendly to anyone that comes over and never shy. He’s also very talkative, so throughout the day it’s as if he’s talking to you. He loves looking out the window during the day and watching the birds fly by. He dislikes any sudden loud noises, especially the vacuum (but of course that’s typical of most animals). He’s really good at using his paws with extra toes to grab his own treats out of his treat jar, too! Also, I have a ton of plants and he doesn’t mess with any of them. Honestly I could write for hours how good of a cat he is.
