Sammy (FIV)

Sammy is a handsome 4-year-old boy who came to MWHS as a stray. At first, he was unsure of why he was at the shelter, but he quickly realized that he was getting plenty of attention and food. He quickly figured out how to get his "servants" to give him food and attention with his adorable face and cute meow. Don't be fooled-he's not starving or lacking attention, but he'd love for you to believe it so you'll spoil him! He also loves to play and is a great eater. Since Sammy is a very gentle boy, it won't be hard for him to adjust to his new family. As long as you're a human with at least one hand to pet him and plenty of time at home, he'll be very happy to meet you. He also seems happiest being the king of his castle, preferably without other cats. All he needs is playtime, food, petting, and someone to provide him with good healthcare. Sammy has tested positive for FIV, but FIV-positive cats can live long and healthy lives without needing medication. Our adoption counselors have plenty of information on FIV and can assure you that Sammy has many good years ahead of him. As we are closed to the public, adoptions are by appointment only.
