Sand was neglected by her former owners. She is about 8 years old and has only been with one family. She is extremely overweight and cannot clean herself properly due to her size. She is also scared of everything. She is very fearful of dogs. She stays in her homemade cave most of the time. She does come out to get pets and will purr loudly and excessively. However, she is so fearful that any sudden movements will have her running back into hiding.
This cat is in need of a true Cat Whisperer. You can tell she wants to be the lovebug all the time but she just can't get there yet. Someone needs to take the time to earn her trust and help her lose weight.
