Sebastian is a good boy who loves to be loved! He is content to just be held in your arms and loves a good snuggly blanket to lay under. Sebastian is a special needs cat looking for a forever home. Sebastian has been diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) also known as wobbly cat syndrome. CH is a neurological disorder that affects a cats balance and coordination. There is no cure or treatment for CH, however CH is not contagious or progressive. Cats with mild to moderate cases can live long and happy lives with a few extra safety precautions such as restricting access to stairs and providing an extra large litter box with easy access. Once you submit an application online, it will be reviewed and our adoption coordinator will be in contact with you. This may take a couple days, so please be patient. Successful adoptions and placement of our animals is taken very seriously here at CCHS so, not every application will be approved. We must make certain that each animal is placed in a home that best suits the needs of the animals and the needs of the family and home where the animal is placed. As always, if you have another dog in the home, we do REQUIRE a meet and greet prior to final decisions being made by all parties involved. Our animals come up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed/ neutered, however, we always recommend taking any new pet to your primary veterinarian for a well check to get them established for routine care.
