My Story
Shane is a charming and spirited two-month-old black male kitten with a sleek, glossy coat that gleams in the light. His deep, dark fur and bright, curious eyes make him an enchanting little creature, full of energy and adventure. Shane's playful nature is evident in everything he does-whether it's pouncing on a feather toy, chasing after shadows, or hopping around with infectious excitement, he's always on the move. Despite his tiny size, Shane's confidence shines through as he explores his world with bold curiosity, never afraid to venture into new spaces or try out new activities.
When he's not engaged in high-energy play, Shane transforms into a lovable cuddle companion. He has a gentle side, enjoying snuggling up in warm, cozy spots and purring contentedly as he receives affection from his favorite humans. His endearing personality and sweet disposition make him a perfect little companion, always ready to shower those around him with love. As Shane grows, his affectionate nature will surely continue to develop, and his playful antics will bring endless joy to anyone lucky enough to be in his company.
Thank you for your interest in adopting your next pet from The Haven. Each cat adoption fee of $125 includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine and tag (age 3 months and up), microchip, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, testing for feline AIDS, leukemia, and heartworms, a free starter bag of Hills Science Diet, and coupons from area businesses.
Please make sure you review the following as part of the adoption process:
Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.
A current government-issued photo ID (no student IDs) - such as a driver's license, state ID, passport, military ID, etc.
Have a Meet and Greet with the animal and our adoption coordinator (These can be a virtual Meet and Greet session due to COVID-19)
Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier with them when picking up their new pet.
The Haven accepts cash, check debit/credit cards, or money orders.
* For adopters of cats and dogs aged 6 months or less, or those with a medical condition preventing immediate spaying or neutering, The Haven requires a signed Spay/Neuter (S/N) Agreement and a $100 cash deposit, refundable upon completion of the spay/neuter procedure.
