My Story
Shannon is an adorable 2-month-old black kitten with a playful spirit and a curious nature. With her sleek, midnight-black coat and bright, inquisitive eyes, she's a bundle of energy ready to explore her world. Shannon loves to chase after toys, pounce on anything that moves, and engage in playful antics that will have you laughing in no time. Despite her playful side, she also enjoys cozying up for naps and loves being gently cuddled after a long day of exploring her surroundings.
As a young kitten, Shannon is full of personality and affection, eager to form bonds with her human companions. She's quick to warm up to new people, and her loving nature shines through in the way she seeks out attention and affection. Whether it's a gentle pet or a playful session of chasing a string, Shannon thrives on human connection, making her the perfect addition to any home. Her sweet and spirited nature promises to bring endless joy to those lucky enough to spend time with her.
Thank you for your interest in adopting your next pet from The Haven. Each cat adoption fee of $125 includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine and tag (age 3 months and up), microchip, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, testing for feline AIDS, leukemia, and heartworms, a free starter bag of Hills Science Diet, and coupons from area businesses.
Please make sure you review the following as part of the adoption process:
Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.
A current government-issued photo ID (no student IDs) - such as a driver's license, state ID, passport, military ID, etc.
Have a Meet and Greet with the animal and our adoption coordinator (These can be a virtual Meet and Greet session due to COVID-19)
Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier with them when picking up their new pet.
The Haven accepts cash, check debit/credit cards, or money orders.
* For adopters of cats and dogs aged 6 months or less, or those with a medical condition preventing immediate spaying or neutering, The Haven requires a signed Spay/Neuter (S/N) Agreement and a $100 cash deposit, refundable upon completion of the spay/neuter procedure.
