My Story

Introducing the adorable Sookie! This curious and independent kitten loves to play and explore, spending her time playing with her toys or finding new perches in the house to watch the world go by! This soft little kitty is sure to win over your heart. Sookie loves to be loved in her own terms and time, and may be skittish if her need for space isn't respected. But when approached gently she'll settle in for some long petting & purring sessions! Sookie is happiest in a quiet house with another cat buddy at home, and has done well with both other kittens and adult cats in her foster environment. Sookie would likely do best without very young children in her adoptive home. It's hard to know what Sookie's favorite toys are -- she likes them all! Cat tunnels and cardboard houses give her the opportunity to play sneaky huntress, while wand toys and rolling balls help her showcase her speed and agility! She especially loves to zoom after a lure or rolling toy that slips behind a box. Nothing escapes Sookie's attention! Once she's tired herself out, she'll happily curl up near a window or on some extra soft corner of the house for a quick catnap.
