Meet Sparky! This handsome 7-pound grey and white domestic shorthair is a sweet and curious boy with a gentle heart. Sparky gets along well with other cats and enjoys their company. He appreciates a calm environment where he can feel safe, but once he’s comfortable, he’ll happily seek out gentle pets and quiet companionship. Whether he’s lounging in a cozy spot or watching the world go by from a sunny window, he brings warmth and quiet charm to any home. If you’re looking for a kind-hearted kitty who just needs a little patience to shine, Sparky is ready to meet you! Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
