Stitch

This gorgeous, swirly tabby is seeking a kind human to give him another opportunity for a comfortable life. He originally arrived at FAS in our after-hours kennels and much of his past is a mystery. Stitch spent several months in a quiet home before returning to the shelter when his adopter was no longer able to care for him. In that home, he was an overall shy soul, snoozing away much of the day in his cozy hiding places. He did prove fond of attention from at least one gentle, trusted human, who was able to bring out his sweet and purry side. At the shelter, Stitch has been feeling overwhelmed and shut-down, though tasty treats and a soft voice have helped him start to warm up and show his fondness for cheek-scratches. The presence of a welcoming cat friend in the shelter has helped Stitch feel more relaxed, and his ideal new home may be one with another well-matched feline or two.
