Medical: Sunny has tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and further diagnostics have determined that he may have a progressive infection. Cats with progressive infections are more likely to be infectious to other cats and are at increased risk of FeLV-associated diseases. Prognosis for cats with progressive infections is variable depending on current immune status, stress, or concurrent disease. Some progressive cats will remain nonclinical for several years but it is possible that Sunny may have a shortened life span due to this disease. He should be adopted to a household without any other cats or with other FeLV positive cats. Staff are happy to provide more detailed information but adopters are encouraged to discuss any concerns with their veterinarian prior to adoption. Adoption Fee: $10 + tax
