My Story

Whether it’s winter, spring, summer, or fall, I’ve got my sun dress on because I have a warm personality! I’m a beautiful 6-year-old, "Abyssinian tabby” or “ticked tabby,” patterned mother cat who was found on a farm with my kitten, Ray. I went to a fabulous foster home, where I was immediately named Sunny because of my mild, friendly nature. I developed sores on my body and “pillow paw” (medically known as feline pododermatitis), a condition that causes swelling and pain in the toe pads. The cause is uncertain, but I’ve received medication; my sores are gone, and my paw is feeling better. I also had a bunch of teeth pulled recently. I’m even sweeter than ever now that I do not have a painful mouth. I was a good mama to my boy, and I cared for another mom’s kittens in my foster home too. I’m a gentle girl who loves attention, a cozy lap to sit in, and a soft place to rest. When my foster family hosted Thanksgiving, I cuddled onto every guest’s lap that I could. I am the ultimate cuddle cat. I am surprisingly playful for an adult cat, and I especially enjoy cardboard boxes and mouse toys. I got along great with the four cats in the home. Every day can be a Sunny day when you adopt me to be your kitty sol-mate! Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax
