Swan is currently available for adoption but continues to reside with her loving foster parents. Lucky cat - doesn't have to experience the stress of living in the shelter!
Swan came to us from a community cat colony, and although she sometimes still hisses (her native language) at new things, Swan is a TOTAL LOVE BUG. She is looking for a quiet, kid-free home with someone who has a little cat magic and patience. While we aren't sure if she wants to share her home with another cat, she will likely be ok with a mellow, cat-friendly dog (with slow, appropriate introductions). When comfortable, Swan is an affectionate, playful, chirpy girl. She is polydactyl and will need regular nail trims on her bonus nail). Swan was a little stressed and undersocialized in the shelter and is now being adored in a foster home in southwest Fort Collins where her socialization is being continued, so we ask that all adopters interested in meeting her be willing to drive there for a meet and greet. Her adoption comes with a complimentary half hour phone consultation with the Training and Behavior Center so that you have the support you need to help her adjust to her new home.
