SPECIAL CAT ADOPTION. Sweets was surrendered to us two years ago. She was adopted by her former owners as a kitten and when surrendered to us we were told the reason she no longer used the litter box. As most cat owners know, this can be a problem, but we needed to find out why. We were not given an explanation on what may have changed for her and no vet records were presented to us. We gave Sweets a complete and full examination that revealed that Sweets has Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Good news for Sweets and a potential adopter! She is doing well on special food and low cost medicines: Gabapentin and Prednisolone. She uses her litter box, travels well in a car, a lap cat that is easy to crate and trim her claws. It is, however, time that she finds a home of her own. Her foster family loves her, but cannot continue to keep her. Sweets really needs to settle in with her own family. It is time for Sweets to show her new owner her special high five attitude. Sweets is a super handsome female with gorgeous green eyes.
