My Story

We don't see fluffy orange female cats very often. Tani is an adorable little girl who was recently surrendered to us for having too much energy for her elderly owner. She is FIV+. Tani is 1.5 years old and loves to play rough. She would love a home with another FIV+, playful cat. She is very affectionate but prefers all affection to be on her terms only. She isn't afraid to give a little swat when she is done with being patted. Due to this, she is looking for a home with no young children. Despite her sass, she is winning over all our volunteers with her sweet face and curious nature. Tani is spayed, microchipped, and UTD on all her vaccines. FIV is a feline virus that is spread from deep bite wounds from other cats. Many shelters don't test for it anymore as most cats live normal, healthy lives with it. Our cats are typically adopted quickly, and we receive many applications for each one, so if you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours. All adoption meetings are by appointment only. Our adoption fee for cats seven months- to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years, $200 for one cat, $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
