My Story
Meet Townes and Lennon, a bonded pair of kitten brothers! They are approximately 2.5 months old.
Townes and Lennon were found living outside in Central District with their mother and siblings when they were about one week old! Townes, Lennon, and their siblings were so tiny they hadn’t even opened their eyes yet and could fit in the palm of your hand! There was no one to care for them, and the weather was getting colder, so ACP rescued Mama and the babies, and they’ve been safe and warm in a foster home ever since!
Townes is an adorable all-grey boy with a soft, fluffy coat. Townes is your typical high-energy kitten! He loves to chase feather wands, climb, run, bat around ping pong balls, and wrestle with his siblings! When the kittens were around two weeks old, Townes was the first kitten to open his eyes and become curious about his surroundings. Townes is also a little loverboy! Whenever his foster mom opens the door he runs right over to her and sometimes even flops over to show his belly. Townes loves attention and loves people. He has a sweet, open nature.
Lennon is a very handsome tabby boy with adorable spots on his belly. Like Townes, Lennon is a high-energy boy! He is the best hunter of their litter and is always the first to catch the feather wand. When he catches it he holds the feather in his mouth, gives a happy growl, and tries to take it back to a den - it’s so cute! Lennon loves to climb and run and will chase any toy you throw. He’s usually the last of his siblings to quit play time and fall asleep. Lennon is a very confident kitten and an absolute doll. He is so fun and gives his foster mom endless entertainment!
Lennon and Townes are the biggest kittens in their litter and they love to play with each other! These brothers have been best friends their entire lives so they must stay together. They are happy, playful boys who will appreciate a family who will continue playing with them and keeping them entertained. They are such sweeties and will be a wonderful addition to any family!
Together, they make a playful, fun pair.
What Townes and Lennon are looking for in a home:
- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- A new home will be a big change for them, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them feel comfortable with new experiences.
- They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active playtime.
- They feel at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- They need to live indoors only.
- Townes and Lennon grew up in their foster home with their siblings and mother, but they have not had exposure to other cats.
- Townes and Lennon haven’t interacted with dogs apart from seeing their foster mom’s dogs through a baby gate! They seemed a little unsure and timid of their foster mom’s German Shepherd but not aggressive.
- Townes and Lennon have not interacted with children. But they are small so we think an adult-only home or a home with older children who understand boundaries and would be able to treat them with gentleness and understanding would be best.
All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
