My Story

Tressa is beautiful young cat approximately 5 months old. She was rescued from a hoarder with her sister Tessa. Although she is friendly and enjoys being with people, she is nervous in the shelter and is having a hard time adjusting. She will need a paitent family to help her adjust to a normal home environment. Now that her sister Tessa has been adopted, she is becoming depressed and withdrawn. Please consider her as your new best friend. She has tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, has been spayed, and is current on vaccinations/flea preventive. You will receive health records and a bag of Hill's Science Diet kitten food. Adoption donation: $60. *Unless a future date is otherwise stated, animals are ready to be adopted once posted to Petfinder. Before you apply, please make sure you are at the point where you can welcome an animal into your home. Many homeless animals are awaiting space at our facility.* Please complete the pre-adoption questionnaire at https://form.jotform.us/70725107263148. We will contact you via email. Please check your spam/junk folders too! When adopting a cat, it helps a great deal to have a pet carrier. The Clinton County Humane Society is a no-kill, nonprofit, volunteer-based organization. We do not receive county or government funding and depend on our adoption donations to fund the shelter.
