My Story

Tyson loves attention and affection and often seeks it out. If you stop petting him, he’ll paw at you or give you a love nibble to remind you to pet him again. “He lets me hold him like a baby in my arms,” Tyson’s foster mom said. “He has a very loud purr.” This young, gray tuxedo boy was left behind when his family moved. He lived in a vacant house for six weeks before he was discovered and taken into rescue. He was scared and skittish at first but quickly learned that he was safe. He is looking forward to a new home where he’ll be loved forever. Tyson does not play with toys much, but he does enjoy bird watching. He would benefit from a home that had a catio, screened-in room and/or large window where he could watch the wildlife that intrigues him so much. (We think he may have spent some time outside at some point.) He also loves his wet-food breakfast and won’t let his foster mom forget when it’s time for his morning can of food. We believe Tyson is a year or two old. He’s been neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and is up-to-date on vaccines. Tyson's foster home includes three large dogs who are cat-savvy. It took Tyson a while to come around with the dogs: When he first arrived in his foster home, if the dogs got too close for his comfort, Tyson chomped their ears. Now, Tyson often tries to tag along with the dogs into the backyard. Questions? Email [email protected]. ==> HART’S ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://form.jotform.com/232960843545058 Foster: Elaine
