Uncle Fester

Uncle Fester is a domestic longhair who was brought to us in September 2024 as a transfer in from Sanger Animal Control! When he was brought into our care, he was discovered to be FIV+ which means his little immune systems is not as strong as a normal cat's would be. This also means he would have to be INDOOR ONLY and is reccomended to have normal vet check-ups every 6 months. This does not affect his lifespan at all and he is still a very healthy boy but, due to him being Persian, he has a shorter respiratory system so if he has any upper respiratory illnesses, it can hit him a bit harder and he will need greater care if he ever becomes congested. Due to him being FIV+ with a short respiratory system, he will NEED to go into an INDOOR ONLY home and a home with another FIV+ cat or no other cats at all to not further spread FIV. Fester also came to us with a very bad eye infection that unfortunately caused him to lose his left eye but it doesn't slow him down one bit! He is the biggest cuddle bug and wants to be wherever you're at at all times! He has lived in a foster home with other cats and dogs of various sizes and is very friendly with other pets but due to his over-friendliness he will need to be supervised when meeting any new pet so he is not put in any danger as this boy won't really defend himself! Fester is looking for a calm and loving home where he can be shown unconditional love and have someone to cuddle with!
