VENUS*

Venus is a 5-year-old female kitty with long, tabby-marked hair. She has had a lot change in the past few weeks after she was found in the engine of a car and brought to the animal shelter. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, she was not able to return to her family. Venus has experience living with cats and dogs in her previous home, and may do well in their company in the future. However, Venus will need a very slow and very thoughtful introduction to ensure everyone in the house, furry friends included, are on the same page. Venus enjoys scratching posts and toys with bells, and is known to help out with pests like moths and mice around the home. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locations Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end meet and greets (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
