Vortex

Vortex came to the shelter recently from a hoarding situation. He’s been a perfect gentleman, and volunteers are showering him with love and affection while he adjusts to being with us. This big boy is not aggressive in any way, tending to retreat to a cozy cave or hiding spot when he’s unsure or scared. He is enjoying his twice-daily wet food, appreciates being petted gently, and is getting braver and more comfortable with time. Given his history, he’s probably not going to be a good fit in a busy home, or with young children, but will thrive with patient, cat-savvy folks and some TLC. He has always been with other cats and would do best with at least one feline friend in his forever home.
