Meet Waddles, a resilient 3 year old cat with a heart full of love. When he arrived at Animal Welfare League, he had survived an attack from another animal and was terrified, shy, and defensive. Despite his fear, we knew he deserved a second chance. Thanks to the dedication of Dr. Woodward and the generosity of our donors, Waddles received multiple surgeries and the care he desperately needed. Over the course of nearly 50 days, he not only healed physically but also learned to trust again. Today, Waddles is a sweetheart who has overcome incredible adversity. He can still be a little shy at first, but if you take your time and gently pet him, he'll melt right into your hand.
