Zoey Bean

Zoey Bean was taken to the vet to be put to sleep due to her elderly owner passing away. Windham Animal Control Officers just so happened to be at the vet at the same time and offered to take her, as there's nothing medically wrong with her. She is a beautiful 13 year old girl who is up to date on vaccines and spayed. It's clear her previous owner had taken very good care of her. It's no surprise that Zoey is not happy at the shelter. She spent her life in a quiet home with her elderly person and has now been uprooted. Zoey is desperately seeking another quiet home with no pets. She is a nice girl, however, the dog pound is bringing out the worst in her and she's very fearful. She will need time to adjust to a new home. She may end up being a "spirit kitty" who adopters might not see all the time and will do things on her own terms. Adopter's should expect her to be slow to adjust. Due to Zoey's age and unfortunate predicament we will be waiving the adoption fee. Zoey is simply looking for a home where she can live out her golden years peacefully.
