24Alpine Shih Tzu Spayed female around 3 years old 10 lbs Dogs: yes Crate Trained: Yes House Trained: with a dog door and on a schedule Meet Alpine (aka Pepper), a playful happy little dog. She is crate trained although she would rather be with her people. Doesn't seem to know commands but comes when called. Walks politely on a leash and greets new people and places with curiosity. Gets along well with my other two small dogs wanting to play with them. She uses the dog door to go out on her own and I have been taking her out at regular intervals as well. Only accidents have been in crate overnight, the first 2 nights. Last night she slept on my bed with other two dogs and slept soundly for about 6 hours, when she became restless, I took her outside, she did her business and came right back to bed and slept a couple more hours. When not playing she rests on a dog bed, pillow or at my side on the couch when invited. She is truly delightful and is a great companion. Small dog meet and greets are 10:30-12:30 and larger dogs (over 40 lbs.) are from 11:30-1:30. Our adult dog adoption fee is $300 (with $5 processing fee if paid by card) and includes spay or neuter, rabies, DAPP and Bordetella vaccines, deworming, microchip, heart worm test and lifetime registration.
