My Story

24El Dorado (akaBoomer) Neutered Male Mix breed (looks like a terrier mix) 15 lbs 3-4 years old Leash trained: Loves walks but pulls a little Crate Trained: loves his crate! House Trained: progressing - in training, has accidents in crate only in the middle of the night Dogs: yes Cats: unknown Kids: little kids unknown, 9 yrs and up totally fine We’ve had the pleasure of being Boomers foster family for 1 week and he’s a calm, affectionate, quiet little guy. He prefers to sleep in his crate w his bed & teddy bear and sleeps quietly through the night. He gets along great with our small dog. He’s happy around other people. Boomer likes to play with his toys w people, but will also entertain himself with toys. Boomer enjoys lil walks outside on his leash. He would do best w people who can spend time with him during the day. I don’t think he will be happy home alone all day. He’s overall a very sweet and cuddly boy and think he could be an only dog or have a canine buddy. If interested, we recommend submitting an adoption application at: www.foothilldogrescue.org This dog will be available at Saturday's adoption event at our rescue. Small dog meet and greets are 10:30-12:30 and larger dogs (over 40 lbs.) are from 11:30-1:30. Our address is: 4131 S Shingle Rd suite 14 Shingle Springs, CA Please bring all resident dogs and children that live in the household to the meet and greet. Our adult dog adoption fee is $300 (with $5 processing fee if paid by card) and includes spay or neuter, rabies, DAPP and Bordetella vaccines, deworming, microchip, heart worm test and lifetime registration.
