25Dexter Male Approx 1.2 yrs old Approx 35-40 lbs. Terrier/mix Potty Trained: Yes, need regular outside access Crate Trained: Yes, also loves to snuggle in bed. Dogs: Yes Kids: Yes, loves them Leash Trained: Yes This energetic boy is up for adoption! Dexter is a medium sized, terrier mix with lots of energy and affection. Dexter loves going for walks and playing with toys. He gets very excited when he sees other people and dogs, but is very friendly. When going on walks, Dexter tends to pull on his leash, so his new owners will need to work on his manners. Dexter is very loving and approachable as well, and will follow you around the house often. He loves to give hugs! Nervous around some men, but warms up easily. Dexter is great with children and has been used at a VCA hospital to sit with cancer patients. He is also command trained. This is just a great dog looking for a loving active family!! Small dog meet and greets are 10:30-12:30 and larger dogs (over 40 lbs.) are from 11:30-1:30. Our adult dog adoption fee is $300 (with $5 processing fee if paid by card) and includes spay or neuter, rabies, DAPP and Bordetella vaccines, deworming, microchip, heart worm test and lifetime registration.
