Cats: Yes, would do best with a dog savvy cat as he is super curious! Kids: Yes! Crate Trained: Work in progress! House Trained: Work in progress! '25 Yama is a brave and social border collie mixed breed puppy perfect for an active family who loves the outdoors and being on the go. He is a good traveler and wants to be with his people, other dogs and going for runs on the trails. When he is not hiking or chasing the ball, he wants to find his favorite blanket and sock for a cozy nap, sometimes seeking out his crate for just that. He knows his routine and has almost gotten his potty training down, he knows "sit" and "come on" and is learning "off", "crate" and "leash up". Yama is wary of the big horses and squawky chickens but likes to see up close what the cat is doing. His preferred hangout is on the bed with our teen daughter, listening to music and doing (and eating) homework. Our puppy adoption fee is $350 (with $5 processing fee if paid by card) and includes spay or neuter, DAPP and Bordetella vaccines, deworming, microchip, and lifetime registration.
