Abe (BLIND)

Abe is a blind senior Schnauzer mix that is an absolute gem. He came to us as a stray. He was scared, stinky, had matted fur and bad teeth. He didn't know where he was or what we were going to do to him so he was grouchy, but after 2 days he settled in. He's still unsure of new people and places but that is to be expected since he cannot see. He is estimated to be 10+ years old and he weighs 14 pounds. He'd like a calm and quiet home that offers a lot of affection. Abe is kind and gentle and deserving of all the belly rubs the universe has to offer. He gets excited to hear our voices and runs straight to our laps at every opportunity. He didn't have a great start, but we're determined to make sure he has a perfect ending.
