Meet Abigail! This playful and affectionate 45 lb. pup is ready to find her perfect match! She loves attention and will happily soak up pets all over-she might even jump up gently to ask for more if you stop! Toys are her jam-she'll chase, fetch, and carry them around like prized possessions, but she's also happy to let you take them when playtime is over. Abigail is easy-going when it comes to food and has no problem sharing or stepping away when needed. While Abigail enjoys the company of people, she prefers to be the only dog in the home so that she can be the star of the show! We highly recommend a meet-and-greet with any potential dog friends to make sure everyone gets along. With continued training and a loving home, she's sure to thrive! It's a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff! If you'd like to meet our available pets, please check the pet's profile to see if they are located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
