Looking to add a sweet senior to your home? Come get Ace! At only 12# Ace promises not to take up too much room in your home, but will completely fill your heart with love! Ace is past the adventures of his youth and is now very laid back and mellow. He has started losing vision in both of his eyes, but does seem to have some sight available to him. He did not respond to any commands, but was still eager to take treats and could be a little mouthy grabbing them- though that could also be related to the fact that he does not see well. He loves belly rubs and did well for all body handling and for being picked up. Ace also did very well for his vetting. Ace also did well in his dog tests and seemed happy to interact with a younger, more energetic, male dog and a more laid back senior female dog. This little dog is a gem and deserves a home to spoil him for his golden years! Ace is current on shots, licensed, and microchipped. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment.
