My Story

***Local Adoption Only: Addy must be adopted by a family in the Central Florida region (Orlando area) who will commit to taking her to her vetting appointment for her spay (at the appropriate time). This will be scheduled with our veterinary partner and the cost is covered by her adoption donation.*** Hi! I'm Addy! I'm a 3-month-old, 3lb, Shih Tzu/Maltese blend overflowing with love and puppy energy. I'm looking for a family ready for daily fun, training, and lots of cuddlescould that be you? General Behavior: Calling Addy goofy and playful would be an understatement! This little pup has a big personality that will have you laughing non-stop. She zips around the house with excitement, always ready for her next adventure. Likes & Dislikes: Toys, toys, and more toys! Addy loves tossing her stuffies in the air and sprinting around with them. If you pile them up, she'll nose-dive right in! She's naturally curious and always on the lookout for fun. However, she doesn't like being separated from her family or confined to small spaces and is still learning about boundaries. Training: Like any young pup, Addy needs a patient and committed adopter to help her with basic manners, housetraining, and setting boundaries. Medical: Addy is a healthy girl! She just needs her monthly heartworm and flea preventative. She will also require a follow-up for her spay, which is covered by your adoption donation. Other Animals: Addy gets along well with the small dogs in her foster home but hasn't been introduced to larger dogs or cats yet. Children: This sweet and energetic pup would do great in a home with children! Home: Addy needs a single-family home where her humans aren't away for more than four hours at a time. She has a loud bark that might be heard by close neighbors, and she thrives with a family that can guide her as she grows. Grooming: Addy's breed requires daily brushing and professional grooming every 68 weeks, so her future family should be prepared for regular upkeep. Overall: Addy is a playful, energetic puppy who will steal the hearts of everyone she meets. Could you be the one for Addy? Do you live in the Central Florida region (Orlando area)? Then visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You'll be put in contact with the foster family for more information if it's a potential match. Addy's adoption donation is $625
