My Story

Hey there, I'm Adonis Creed! I didn't have the best start to life but luckily my previous owners surrendered me to Take Paws and it's all been uphill since then! I was born 4/24/24, I currently weigh 56 lbs. Since in rescue, I've learned how much I love to play. I'm a curious boy and love to explore the house and backyard - and there's nothing better than snuggling with my Human in bed at night. I would do best in an active home that likes to go on long walks and has a fenced yard where we can play ball so I can run off some of my puppy energy that I seem to have tons of! I can easily become a little overstimulated without the proper amount of activity so it's probably best I find a home with no small children! I'm working on trusting and having better manners when it is feeding time but I will settle down in my crate after a bit if you need to leave me in there while you go to work or run errands. I'm very smart and quickly mastering potty training! I'm most likely a Lab/Terrier mix, I have completed my vaccinations, am microchipped and neutered. If you have lots of energy to spare, adopt me and let's go on a some wild adventures together! Please note: as with most rescue puppies, we have no way to guarantee this puppy’s breed or size potential. PLEASE READ BELOW: If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, the first step is to please visit our website to complete an application and read all of our FAQs: https://www.takepawsrescue.org/adopt **Please do not use the "Introduce Yourself" feature. The information needed to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application. An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for puppies covers initial deworming, puppy vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter at the rescue's approved vet at 6 months of age. Please see our website for more information. 2024 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals: Puppies under 12 months - $350 Dogs over 12 months - $250 For additional information, including the adoption process and our adoption fee scale for all our adoptable pets, see our FAQs page: https://www.takepawsrescue.org/faq *Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our puppies live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match! **Any breed labels used by Take Paws Rescue, its employees/volunteers, or on vet records provided cannot be guaranteed. Breed labels are given based on information obtained during intake and/or best guesses based on appearance and/or temperament of the dogs and Take Paws Rescue gives no assurance to the accuracy of these labels. Labels are necessary for postings to many animal networking sites, such as Pet Finder, and are no way a guarantee. Additionally, exact age and potential size cannot be guaranteed.
