Meet Alba!
Alba is one of Mama Eska's Snow litter! She and her 5 siblings were born outside in late December and lived in the freezing temperatures for several weeks while their mama did her very best to protect them and keep them safe. Thankfully, their finder reached out to us and we were able to grab them before truly dangerous temperatures arrived.

Alba is a sweet and gentle Husky mix puppy, born on December 20th, 2024. The most laid-back and submissive of her litter, she has a loving personality that makes her an absolute joy to be around.
She gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats in her foster home and enjoys a good balance of playtime with her toys and just lounging around. While she’s doing great with house training and regularly potties outside, she’s still a young pup and may have occasional accidents as she continues to learn.
Alba is doing well in her crate but, given the choice, she’d much rather be snuggled up on the couch! We expect her to grow into a medium to large-sized adult, likely around 55-60 lbs.
If you’re looking for a sweet, relaxed, and affectionate pup to complete your family, Alba could be the perfect match! Apply to adopt her at rarerescue.org.
Alba is still a young puppy and has not completed her full puppy vaccine series and has not yet been spayed. As per our adoption contract, we will complete all puppy vaccinations, as well as her spay with our Veterinary partner. We are happy to discuss this further with potential adopters.

All of our Adoptables are:
Spayed/neutered; Up to date on vaccines; Heartworm tested if six months or older (& kept on heartworm preventative and treated for heartworms if positive when entering our program): Microchipped prior to adoption
BREEDS: We are not breed experts. The breed(s) listed for each adoptable are best guesses or suggestions.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a non-profit organization without municipal or government funding. Veterinary/Medical expenses are constant for an animal rescue. Our adoption fees not only help to provide vetting and care for the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need in order to be made available for adoption.
Please understand that adopting an animal is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to that animal and there will be veterinary expenses throughout their life that can often cost several hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (without pet insurance), especially without annual checkups and preventative care. As a potential family for this pet you are responsible for their safety and that includes keeping them on your property.
***If you are not in the middle Tennessee area, transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes, depending on distance and local adaptability. We normally do not do adoptions outside of 1.5 hours driving distance.
