Ali

Precious Ali came to us through guardian angels, neighbors of her owner who recognized that she was wounded and needed veterinary care that she wasn't getting. We think that she was hit by a car. Scans revealed multiple fractures of her pelvis that have healed. Her other injuries are more obvious: she's missing two toes and a third was damaged. In addition, Ali arrived to rescue with an open wound on her foot pad, which was missing. After time, TLC, and multiple vet visits, Ali's foot is healing beautifully. The wound has closed, and she is developing a keratin layer on her pad again. It takes time for pads to grow back. Ali is wearing a bootie to help the process along. Ali is a happy girl, and she can continue to rock her boot and heal in a #FureverHome. Ali will thrive in just about any home. She gets along with male dogs her size, smaller dogs of either sex, and probably could share her home with another mellow, large family. She would be great with kids!
