My Story
Amaya is the sweetest Aussie pup you'd ever be lucky enough to meet! Despite being genetically given microphthalmia, and having some vision loss, and complete deafness, likely as a result of trying to create merle puppies - she is the happiest go lucky puppy - let alone AUSSIE ever. At about 1 year old, and 35-40 pounds, she gets to where she's going no matter what, and finds her way around amazingly, likely using her sense of smell! Amaya loves other dogs, kids, and cats; in fact, anyone willing to love on her, is going to get all the love FROM her. Though, she can definitely play a little rough for smaller dogs and cats, savvy dogs who will let her know when she's being a bit too much will be wonderful for her! She is as a loyal as can be, and has a particular love for army crawling under different objects; likely for her own comfort, and feeling of security.
in spite of her growing size, we're sure she will be a forever hide n' seek dog. Amaya has been doing wonderfully her entire life living in a home with a family; she's entirely house-broken, crate-trained, you name it! She is quite the content little girl once she's done with her short bursts of energy, whether it's her adorable zoomies, or chasing a toy she can see. She is one absolutely perfect pup that we cannot get enough of! We believe she will thrive in most loving homes!
