Andy is a beautiful 1.5 year old mixed breed dog we pulled from an animal shelter. He is one of Frannys pups and weighs right around 12lbs. Andy is a very special boy and will require a special home with someone who’s worked with scared Dogs before. He wants to badly to trust humans but we believe he’s just not been properly socialized. Andy came in with his mom and two brothers who are just as fearful as he is. We have spent a lot of time slowly introducing this adorable fellow to all things human and he’s made great progress. Andy does not walk on a leash and will Require a fenced in yard. He is a flight risk and should never be left alone unsupervised. He has never offered to bite, he will just lay down and hide if he’s scared. Andy is also a submissive pee-er. Neutered Vaccinated Microchipped HW Negative and on monthly prevention. You will be notified by adoption coordinator if your application is approved. Adoptions are set up by appointment only. We do not have “hours” of operation. 3.) If the dog is posted as Available on Petfinder, it is available but may have pending applications and meet and greets set up. 4.) If you are not ready to immediately meet the dog you are applying for, please do not apply- we are too busy for window shoppers! Every dog is available to be taken home with you at the time of the meet and greet. 5.) We recommend you bring a carrier with you to transport the dog home as some can get carsick.
